Blackfriars named Best Restaurant in the North East
Blackfriars Restaurant has been named Best Restaurant in the North East by the Hi-Life Dining Club. The restaurant recieved its gong at a stunning awards ceremony that saw it beat other top gastro destinations, Blackdoor Restaurant, Grainger Rooms and The Bridge Inn.
Basking in the celebrations whilst sandwiched on a sleb table between Noddy Holder and Dave Spikey, Andy Hook, owner of Blackfriars Restaurant, blurted "I canna believe it! What lovely recognition of the tremendous hard work put in by the staff day after day. Marvellous!"
